In just 48 months, founder and CEO Michelle Cordeiro Grant flipped her “leisurée” (lingerie and leisure) startup and sold the fledgling company for $85 million. As a former Victoria's Secret executive, Michelle realized that the $13 billion lingerie category in the U.S. alone was dominated by this one brand with one point of view. So she decided to create an inclusive, digital brand to redefine what comfort and sexiness meant to the Millennial woman.
